FesTavares
FesTavares is a one day street festival celebrating the naming of Tavares Lane, the first street in Yarra City Council to be named after a non indigenous person of colour and first person from estate housing.
In honour of this great milestone, What’s Next Projects alongside Joshua Tavares and with support from The Collingwood Neighbourhood House, Yarra City Council, Leaps and Bounds festival, Koorie Pride and Vic Health put together a day for the community in celebration of diversity and progression.
Delicious food and body rocking music from top tier local talent set a light Perry Park in the soul of Melbourne city, Collingwood. At the base of the famous Collingwood Highrises on Hoddle.
